Abstract
The study of animal behavior has long been a key area of research in biology, with genetic factors playing a crucial role in shaping behavior. Advancements in genetic technologies have enabled researchers to explore the genetic basis of behavior with unprecedented precision. This article reviews recent advancements in the study of animal behavior through genetics, highlighting key discoveries in genetic influences on behavior, the identification of behavior-associated genes, and the use of model organisms in behavioral genetics research. The article also discusses the potential of genetic research in advancing our understanding of complex behaviors such as social interactions, aggression, and mating behavior, as well as its implications for conservation and animal welfare.
