Abstract
Separation processes are fundamental in chemical engineering, and advancements in separation techniques are essential to improving efficiency, sustainability, and reducing environmental impact in chemical processes. This article explores the latest developments in advanced separation techniques, such as membrane technologies, adsorption, chromatography, and distillation. Chemical engineers are continually developing novel methods to enhance separation processes for a wide range of applications, from petrochemical refining to pharmaceutical production. This paper reviews the principles, applications, and challenges of these advanced techniques, as well as the future trends that could shape the field of chemical separation.
