Abstract
The integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) into precision agriculture has transformed traditional farming methods by enabling real-time data collection, monitoring, and automated decision-making. IoT devices, including smart sensors, drones, and automated irrigation systems, allow farmers to monitor soil moisture, crop health, and weather conditions more efficiently. These technologies not only optimize input resources such as water, fertilizers, and pesticides but also help in predictive analysis of yields and disease control. This paper explores the various applications of IoT in agriculture, its impact on yield improvement, and its role in reducing operational costs. Moreover, the paper highlights the challenges of IoT implementation in developing regions and discusses future directions toward fully autonomous, data-driven farming systems.
