Abstract
Small-scale manufacturers face numerous challenges, including limited resources, high operational costs, and the need to maintain competitive production quality. One of the key challenges in this context is the lack of affordable, reliable instrumentation for monitoring and controlling various processes. This article presents an overview of low-cost instrumentation solutions that are tailored to the needs of small-scale manufacturers. The paper explores the importance of affordable instrumentation in enhancing production efficiency, improving product quality, and ensuring consistent operations in small-scale manufacturing environments. The article also discusses the role of emerging technologies such as sensors, wireless communication, and open-source hardware in reducing the cost of instrumentation, making them accessible for smaller manufacturers.
