Abstract

The rapid growth of smart home technology has led to the integration of intelligent control systems that can enhance comfort, efficiency, and security in residential environments. These systems leverage advanced technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), machine learning, and artificial intelligence (AI) to create autonomous, adaptive environments that respond to users’ needs in real time. Intelligent control systems in smart homes manage devices such as lighting, HVAC systems, security cameras, and appliances through data-driven decision-making processes. This paper explores the development of intelligent control systems for smart homes, examining their applications, technologies, challenges, and future directions. Key aspects include integration with IoT, user-centric design, energy efficiency, and security considerations. The paper also highlights how emerging technologies such as AI and machine learning are enhancing the capabilities of smart home systems.
