Pharmaceutical Strategies in the Treatment of Respiratory Diseases

Abstract

Respiratory diseases, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pulmonary fibrosis, represent a significant burden on global health. Pharmaceutical strategies have played a critical role in the management and treatment of these diseases. This article provides an in-depth review of current pharmaceutical treatments, including bronchodilators, corticosteroids, biologic therapies, and newer investigational drugs. We also discuss challenges in drug delivery and the future of personalized medicine in the management of respiratory diseases.
