Abstract

Nanoparticles have emerged as a transformative tool in the field of cancer therapy, providing a means to deliver drugs and therapeutic agents with enhanced precision and efficiency. These nanoscale carriers can be engineered to target cancer cells specifically, reducing the harmful side effects associated with conventional chemotherapy. Despite their promising potential, the clinical translation of nanoparticles in cancer therapy faces several challenges, including issues related to bioavailability, toxicity, and immune responses. This article explores the role of nanoparticles in cancer therapy, highlighting the challenges and opportunities they present. It further discusses the various types of nanoparticles, their mechanisms of action, and the future directions for overcoming existing barriers to their clinical application.
