Abstract
Lean manufacturing has emerged as a pivotal philosophy in driving operational excellence across diverse industries. Rooted in the elimination of waste and enhancement of value-added activities, lean principles significantly influence organizational performance in terms of efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. This paper explores the foundational concepts of lean manufacturing, its strategic implementation, and its measurable impact on organizational outcomes such as productivity, cost reduction, and employee engagement. Through a comprehensive review and synthesis of recent empirical studies, the article presents lean manufacturing as a transformative approach that reshapes operational practices and competitive positioning. Practical implications and recommendations are also discussed for industries aiming to adopt or refine lean methodologies.
