Abstract
The combination of bioinformatics and artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing genomic research by enabling the analysis of complex and large-scale biological data. AI techniques, including machine learning and deep learning, are increasingly being applied to interpret genomic data, identify patterns, and predict outcomes that were previously challenging to achieve. This article explores the emerging role of AI in genomic research, with a focus on applications such as gene expression analysis, variant calling, and drug discovery. We also discuss the challenges and future directions of integrating AI into bioinformatics for advancing personalized medicine and precision genomics.
